“Back at the Governor’s House I went up to her space to come across the excellent perch. I positioned it on the balcony in a very little cage.”

She continued: “I waited for her to return and when she came in I claimed, ‘Your Majesty, there’s a funny wanting grey hen on your balcony.’

“The Queen looked outside the house and shouted, ‘It’s a kookaburra!’

“I went to open up the cage doors and she explained loudly, ‘No! Never do that! It will fly away!’ and was guiding me in a flash.”

Ms Kelly included: “Turning to Her Majesty though attempting to hold a straight deal with, I solemnly told her it was dead.

“She looked horrified as I walked towards her with outstretched arms and as she took the chook from my fingers, she realised I experienced been winding her up.”

The Queen was shocked, and Ms Kelly swiftly remarked: “April Fool! I said with a mischievous grin, and she only experienced two text for me: ‘You’re sacked!'”
